Day 1: PICK UP FROM BANDARANAIKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT [TRANSFERS TO KANDY-Approx. 3 hours]

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International airport, you will meet our representative who will further assist you to your hotel in Kandy (by surface approx. 3 hours). Arrive at the hotel and check in. Evening: Free for leisure to explore and walk through the local streets around your hotel.

Rest and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Kandy – Pinnawela – Kandy [Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage][Royal Botanical Garden At Peradeniya]

Breakfast at hotel – Proceed to Pinnawela – Visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage – This orphanage is the home for about 89 elephants, out of which some are baby elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are being cared for, fed, and trained by the wildlife authorities. The best time to visit is during the feeding times when one will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottle-fed. Also could accompany the elephants to a river close by and see them having their daily bath and Pinnawela Open Zoo.

Return to Kandy en-route visit Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya – This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants, and flowers Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Kandy [Tea Plantation + Temple Of Tooth Relic]

Breakfast at hotel – Proceed to Nuwara Eliya en-route visit a tea plantation and factory where the best tea in the world is produced. You will be told all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. On completion, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing a significant share of the world’s best tea. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain

Drive through the Nuwara Eliya and return to Kandy. Late evening visit Temple of the tooth to observe the rituals of Buddhist worship.

Day 4: Kandy – Transfers To Balapitiya [Free For Leisure]

Breakfast at hotel and check out and transfers to Balapitiya via expressway. Arrive at the hotel and check in.

Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beach. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5: Balapitiya [Transfers To Bandaranaike International Airport]

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfers to the airport as per departure flight schedule. Complete airport formalities and board flight. Land at Kolkata airport with fond memories of your tour.
