The design brief was to create a modern family home with a country design. A real country feel has been created with the barn doors and timber sarking ceilings. The existing home before renovating was brick so to create the modern look the existing and new bricks have been plastered over. Inside, the kitchen cabinetry and the storage baskets fit with the country theme. Soaking up the heat from the double sided gas fire in the cooler months creates a cosy and warm environment. The landscaping adds to the country charm and great use of space with the new swimming pool and veggie gardens out the back of the home. Plenty of lawn for the children to run and kick a ball around finishes this renovation off nicely.
