A Aladi Arun, the Founder and CEO of AK Consultants was born in Madurai and did his schooling at Montfort School, Yercaud and at Vikaasa School, Madurai. His childhood interests in business and entrepreneurship made him enroll for B.Com at The American College and later for the MBA at Madurai Kamaraj University. He later traveled to New Zealand to pursue his international business studies at The University of Waikato. Aladi Arun is currently the Alumni Representative for the India Chapter for the University of Waikato’s alumni association apart from also being one of its authorized representatives. In 2006, Arun launched AK Consultants, .a Company that has the unique distinction of being southern Tamil Nadu’s first consultancy to be direct representatives of Foreign Universities, and thus paving the way to have more direct and transparent access to foreign education. From small beginninggs in 2006, AK Consultants now operates from Chennai and Madurai and provides online services in designing careers of students through GO ABROAD. Their old students are now well established with 95 percent of their students transiting from study to work. A Aladi Arun is a proud fourth generation coconut planter. He is a member of Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage, INTACH Madurai, and the Young Entrepreneurs School at Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Madurai.
