GANGTOK PELLING RAVANGLA TOUR PLAN IN DETAIL

Day 1: New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport To Gangtok

On arrival at NJP / Bagdogra, you will be transferred to Gangtok (5500 ft). It will take 4-5 hrs to reach your destination. The evening is free for leisure & shopping. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 2: Ex Gangtok, excursion to Tsomgo/Changu Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast in the early morning, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake – situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around & visit Baba Mandir. (In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tsomgo Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided). On the way have your lunch. Overnight in Gangtok.

Nathula Pass is an Indo-China border & is situated approx 20 km. above Tsomgo Lake. Supplement cost for Nathula Pass visit will be INR 3500.00 extra per vehicle which includes the permit charges also. Nathula permit will be confirmed 24 hrs before the journey date & it is subjected to permit availability by lottery. In case the permit is not confirmed by Sikkim tourism & due to any reason (Land slide, Heavy rainfall, VIP Movement, etc) you are unable to visit Nathula pass then, there is no refund of the amount taken towards a visit to Nathula. Nathula pass is closed on Monday & Tuesday for the tourist)

Day 3: Gangtok City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, then move out for Gangtok city tour including Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Falls, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Khangchendzongha Tourist Villa, Ranka Monastery, Enchey Monastery, Botanical Garden (closed on Sunday), Gangtok Viewpoint, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), Cottage Industry (closed on Sundays) White Hall, Flower Show & Ropeway ( Ropeway ticket is not included). Evening at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Transfer to Pelling

Morning is at leisure. Later you will be transferred to Pelling. Overnight at Pelling

Day 5: Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for Pelling city tour covering Pemayangste Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, Khecheopalri Lake, Darap Valley, Rock Garden, Khangchendzongha & Rimbi Falls. Pemayangste Monastery was built for “Pure Monks” (ta-thang meaning ‘monks of pure Tibetan lineage’), celibate, and without any physical abnormality. This practice has remained. Only the monks of Pemayangste Monastery are entitled to the title “ta-thing”. The head lama of the monastery had the unique privilege of anointing the Chogyals of the erstwhile monarchy of Sikkim with holy water. Pemayangste means ” Perfect Sublime Lotus” and is said to represent one of the 4 plexus of the human body. Khecheopalri Lake is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lakes and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true / gets fulfilled. Overnight at Pelling.

Day 6: Transfer to Namchi

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for covering – a miniature replica of the Indian Char Dhams located in our Country i.e. Jagannath Dham in East, Dwarika Dham in West, Badrinath Dham in North and Rameshwaram in South. It also has a 108 ft. statue of Lord Shiva enclosed by the 12 ‘Lingas’. It gives a feeling of complete mental peace & satisfaction & also visits Samdruptse. Overnight Namchi

Day 7: Drop to NJP / Bagdogra

After breakfast & check out from the hotel we will proceed for the return journey to NJP railway station / Bagdogra Airport. Tour ends with sweet memories.
